This Four Ducat gold coin is made of .986 pure gold and bezel set into a polished 18K yellow gold pendant. Dated 1915, the obverse of the coin features the bust of Emperor Franz Joseph I with the inscription FRANC IOS I D G AUSTRIAE IMPERATOR. The reverse depicts the arms of Austria superimposed upon a crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with the message HUNGAR BOHEM GAL LOD ILL REX A A 1915. The coin measures 39mm in diameter.
