This coin is 133 years old.  Date is clear.  These coins were issued frim 1883 to 1912.  There were apparently two or three 1913's printed.  The first 1883 only had the V on the back and the story goes that they were painted in gold and passed off as $5.00 pieces.  Therefore, 1883 had two coins issued on without cents on back and the rest indicate under the V cents.  History is fascinating to me.  Stamp is Scott Catalog Number 899 uncirculated.
