Description  Up for auction here is the key date for the lincoln series--The 1909 s vdb.  If you are looking at this auction you know about this coin so I'm going to let the coin speak for itself and you the bidders set the fair market value.  This is nice coin. Don't hesitate--By mid 2009 these coins are expected to skyrocket!!!  This coin, as you can see in the pictures is a raw, ungraded coin. I am not going to assign a grade because I am not a professional coingrader.  However, i been around a while now and I'm accurate--Better yet, I'm conservatively accurate!!.  OK--Using the ANA Photgrade Standards my opinion of this coin is conservatively in the very fine range--to me it accurately grades vf20 (minimum)--but that is my personnel opinion only!! The bowtie is well defined and the ear is distinctly viewable. Lincolns swirling hair is disernable as are the layers of his coat.  The reverse wheat stalks are defined and and the lines are seperated and viewable (to me this is the weakest grading point--the lines--if not for this it could go vf35 to vf40 (conservative tops). SEE MY FEEDBACK--MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE CONSERVATIVE!!!! The vdb is excellent and also well struck and clearly viewable. The coin is well struck overall and there are normal wear circulation dings--no major distractions.  The L in liberty is struck light or possibly worn or both.
