It is a U.S. 1909 Gold Five Dollar piece and it looks almost uncirculated. There were only 677,060 made. I have just watched two other of the same coins sell for $275 and $292.87 and they were not in any way as nice a coin as this. It appears that the coin was removed from circulation right after it was minted. It has mint luster. I've looked at it under magnification and its beautiful. My pictures don't do it justice. I let the high bidder choose the means of shipping since the buyer pays for the shipping. I always pack to protect your investment, and never charge any handling fee. I now take Paypal, but prefer almost any other means of payment. The payment should be received by at least one week after close of the auction, or the coin will be relisted.
