Current Lot 1936 Albany Half Commemorative MS66 PCGS MS-66 (PCGS). The Albany, New York 1936 Commemorative Half Dollar is presented in a Gem Mint State certified grade of 66. This is a beautiful silver half that has light toning on the surfaces. This coin commemorates the 250th anniversary of the charter for the city of Albany. Depicted on the obverse is a beaver chewing on a maple branch. The reverse depicts Governor Dongan, Robert Livingston, and Peter Schuyler shaking hands. A coin with a miniscule mintage of 17,671 coins. A beautiful coin that has a gem grade and satiny surfaces.
