Description
ericaduhs Store 1902 THE PAULS VALLEY NATIONAL BANK OKLAHOMA OK !RARE! The Pauls Valley National BankOklahoma 1902 Series Type: Date Back Serial Number 1503 Charter 7892 AVG Condition This Garvin County bank was first chartered August 1905. The bank was initially an Indian Territory bank. A super rare note from Oklahoma. The 2006 version of Kelly National Bank Note census registry shows a only 3 large sized notes known to exist. The newest 2007 census shows NO $20 Date Bank notes exist. THIS IS TRULY A ONE AND ONLY. The current book value is $2,000.00 in F condition. To own a super rare one and only comes along very seldom. The note has had its share of circullation and it shows. Hard horizontal fold, presence of tape below the Cashier name and a lower right hand corner missing. The Cashier name is present and clearly visible. The name of the president is missing. It appears the President never signed this note. Signatures fade but my opinion is that the President neglected to sign the note. A very, very super rare Oklahoma note worthy of any currency collection, despite it's share of circulation. R.H. Grimmett began this long standing small town bank and the Grimmett family continues to operate the bank. Only two other local banks issued national notes. All notes are delivered in a protective currency holder to preserve the condition of the note, as well as its life expectancy. All notes should remain in a protective currency holder to further preserve the note in its condition as well as to preserve its life. I never alter the appearance of any note in any way. I never wash notes, mend or repair notes, nor do I lighten any scan. The note shown is in the exact condition it will be delivered. As currency grading is so highly subjective, even among professional grading companies, I leave the final opinion of condition to you, the bidder. A scan is provided for you to examine the note closely. You may super-size any scan by simply clicking the scan shown.Pursuant to ridiculous dictatorship rules of Ebay, sellers are not permitted to accept cash for any sales. It's still legal tender in the United States and many other countries but it's not legal tender on Ebay. Do not ask if I will accept cash as I don't want to cause anyone at Ebay to burst into tears. I will not end an auction eary for any reason so please, do not ask. I am forced to enforce this rule as a result of two people who have cost me money needlessly. Thanks to Ebay raising their fees considerably and calling the price increases a price reduction, I am no longer able to absorb needless losses. As a direct result of the Ebay price increases and the shameless bullying of Ebay tyrannical rulers, I will no longer accept Paypal as a method of payment. The smaller number of notes available for sale isn't a result of the economy, it's a result of EvilBay. If you have any questions, simply ask. If you have any questions, simply ask. The only dumb question is a question that is never asked. I always combine shipping to prevent needless expense in shipping. Numismania...Catch It!!! Enjoy Bidding!
