Certificates from this rugged and beautiful region of Colorado are always very popular. Issued to Jacob D. Flock 110 years ago in November of 1898 for 100 shares. (The issue date is stamped on the left date line - very light but is there) The corporate seal is punched into the lower-left. (Stock# 1874) Vignette shows a group of early miners working in a mine shaft. I can't read the signature of the company president but the secretary was F.D. Bautow.  Nice condition with a few folds.  UNCANCELLED Printed by Albert B. King & Co., Litho, N.Y.
