Description Up for bid is this U.S. Indian Cent that is dated 1866 and grades VF and is COUNTERSTAMPED "OIL OF ICE". According to the Russell Rulau 2004 edition of U.S. Tokens there are only 22 examples known of the copper indian cent variety which are on the 1864, 1865, 1867, 1869, 1870, 1874 and 1880. As of this edition none were on the 1866, we just came across this one. What a great find, EXTREMELY RARE! Throw out any catalog value on this one, i did photograph the page saying the details!!
