I live in a very rural area and run an, I buy old US coins ad in the local rags and I get stuff cheap. I never know what I'll get next so stay tuned.Here we have an 1865 COPPER TWO CENTS in what I would guess as FINE Condition. Please understand, I'm not an expert coin grader, and your opinion may differ, so use your own judgment. The WE is 99% worn away and only indistinguishable details remain.  Color appears to be a medium copper brown age patina. Both surfaces show no porosity, as shown in the photos. Please excuse the "soft-focus" on the left side of the coin, I was tilting it to show shadow detail, but it is sharp. A nice, collectible example.Please understand that I sell coins in the condition they come in the door and I cannot vouch for their previous treatment. For example, last week, I obtained 20 large copper cents from an older local couple who had them stashed in their drawer for 50 years. 19 of them are AG toVF common dates, but I lucked out with one, an 1817 Coronet Head Cent with the rare 15 stars variety in what looks to be AU/BU condition.
