An ever popular token struck by the US Mint on their first Steam Coinage Press. This actual press now resides in the museum at the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs. It was used in the year 2000 to strike souvenir restrikes of this piece. This is however the ORIGINAL version, struck in 1836 and is in GEM MS65 condition and a beautiful mahogany brown.
