The entire edge lettering is very deep and otherwise perfect. It's a nice obverse strike and the very rare doubling of the reverse caused some flatness in the eagle...I don't believe this coin ever actually circulated. The uniform deep orange toning is gorgeous and the complete original Mint Lustre gleams out through the toning on both sides. This coin can proudly take her place in the finest collection and can easily be the centerpiece of many. You can look long and hard and not find such an interesting and basically uncirculated original specimen at anywhere near this investment level ... satisfaction guaranteed !
