Description A very interesting EF45 coin with things that make Bust Halves so very fascinating. Notice in the closeup scan that Miss Liberty's profile and some of the stars show doubling. This indicates that the obverse die was probably loose when the coin was struck. Also the edge lettering runs the words "ORHALF" together with no space, a Mint error that Overton classifies as Edge Error #E1. There is one ding on the edge not visible in the scans but no scratches, holes, graffiti, or other such problems at all and there is much remaining original Mint Lustre, especially on the reverse. You can see that it was a very nice strike and the rims and denticles are complete. All in all, a "corker" of a coin, starting at a "giveaway" investment level for such a neat coin in this RED HOT Bust Half market.
