Description
1799 Draped Bust 1c PURE SILVER Repro Mintage ONLY 100 From Ken Potter .... ~~Serving Collectors Since 1973~~ Special Silver Edition 1799 Large Cent Reproduction Exact-Size* .999Fine Silver Edition Nearly Sold Out 100 Mintage! 100 Mintage! Ever since Royal Oak Mint first issued the 1856 Flying Eagle Cent reproductions back in 1998, a segment of our buyers have been asking if any of the non-silver issues will ever be struck in a special edition of silver. In response to that demand ROM has decided to issue all the copper cents in .999 fine silver. The following dates are now available in silver: 1793 Chain, 1793 Wreath, 1799, 1804, 1856, 1856 Proof, 1877 Proof, 1909-S Indian Head Proof, 1909-S, 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, 1922 No D, 1943-D, 1944, 1955/55 Doubled Die and 1974. The mintage on these coins is strictly limited to 100 pieces. No more will be made. The one offered here is a die-struck 1799 Cent Reproduction minted on a planchet of .999 fine silver; the reverse shows "COPY" incuse, neatly worked into the upper wreath. Most of the mintage of these issues are now sold out! Remember -- Only 100 were struck by Royal Oak Mint who guarantees they will never be struck again! This one is in the original holder initialed by ROM. It has been out several years now and almost sold out! Comes assembled in 2x2 with the ROM President's initials to testify to the mintage. * ROM coins are struck with expensive custom tooling within reasonable tolerances of the genuine coins and will fit perfectly into all commercial albums. Faithful designs are incredibly accurate and as close to the originals as reasonably possible. Unless otherwise noted, silver coins are struck in pure silver, copper coins in copper, etc. Thanks for looking!
