Description
1795 Capped Bust Gold Eagle NGC VF35       www.paulhollis.com      1795 $10.00 NGC VF35 FIRST YEAR TYPE!   BUY IT NOW $65,340 When the Founding Fathers considered the coinage for a new America, they planned the $10 Eagle to be the cornerstone from which the smaller Half Eagle and Quarter Eagle would be based. Unfortunately, the Eagle never registered success as a coin of international trade as bankers and money handlers preferred the smaller Half Eagle in size and fineness because of similarity to the more familiar British Guineas and Sovereigns, Brazilian 4000 Reis and the French 24 Livres. As the price of gold escalated among the world turmoil, many of the $10 Eagles found their way to the melting pots. First year mintage was a little over 5,000 circulation strikes for this three year series. A remarkable rarity historically and as a first year type!    About Us       We have been a member of the Ebay community for nearly 10 years and have maintained a 100 percent positive feedback.  We will continue to have a 100  percent positive feedback because we are dedicated to earning your trust and we will handle your transaction in anyway that makes you most comfortable and satisfied.  You can buy coins from anyone, but at paulhollis.com, we recognize that our expertise and customer service will keep you as a customer for a long time.  We are a small firm that is heavy on expertise and light on overhead so you are insured very low margins.  All transactions are handled in a way that insures your total satisfaction.  We offer Free and immediate shipping upon receipt of good funds.  You decide your  shipping method - FedEx, Certified, Priority, Etc.  We also offer a 90-day interest free payment plan and professional customer service.  We love coins and if you have an interest in this piece or any of our other auctions we would welcome your inquiry.   Feel free to check us out online at  www.paulhollis.com or email us at kirk@paulhollis.com.
