Description
Offered by Shawn A. Yancey of Earlycoppercoins, EAC #4647. The coin offered is a 1794 Liberty Cap large cent, variety S53, which is one of the Head of 1794 types. This is an incredibly RARE variety listed as an R6! This is the only S53 that I have ever handled in over 10+ years as an early copper dealer. This coin is ex-Steven Ellsworth at midyear ANA 10-96; Dan Trollan; Shawn Yancey EAC 2008. The coin is Noyes #35060, where it was very strictly EAC graded as G6 net FR2. My own grade would be F12 net AG3+ - see the photos and judge for yourself. The obverse is really nice and sharp, the reverse is not. In accordance with Ebay's new policies, I can now only accept payment by Paypal. I also offer FREE shipping with insurance, so what you bid is what you pay! 3-day return privilege in original holder - satisfaction guaranteed! I am an early copper dealer and EAC member that specializes in early date half cents, large cents, and early type coins. Make sure you take the time to check out my other listings and my eBay Store!
