Description
1793 Wreath Cent Lettered Edge S11C, R3 Attention:  I Will Accept PayPal. If you decide NOT to pay by PayPal, it will save me about $110.  Therefore, If you DO NOT pay with PayPal I will give you as a gift a PCGS 1887 Morgan MS64 ($68 value). This auction is for one 1793 Wreath Cent graded by one of the best third party graders, PCGS.  1887 Morgan dollar is not part of the auction, but is a gift if DO NOT USE PAYPAL and pay postal money order, bank check, or personal check. Great affordable early cent.  Solid G6.  According to Q. David Bowers, author of the book "A Guide Book of United States Type Coins", only 2000-3000 are thought to still be in existance.  Walter Breen, author of "Walter Breen's Encyclopedia of United States Large Cents1793-1814", states that between 2400 and 2800 still exist in all grades. 1793 Wreath Cents fall into two categories.  Vines and Bars edge, and Lettered edge.  Lettered edge is the rarer of the two.  Most Wreath Cents were crudely struck with scrap copper or defective planchets.  Therefore most appear to have grainy or porous surfaces. THIS COIN SHIPS BY USPS CERTIFIED MAIL ONLY (INSURED FOR FULL VALUE), SO EXPECT 5-8 DAYS BEFORE IT ARRIVES.  THIS IS THE ONLY WAY USPS WILL LEGALLY INSURE A COIN OF THIS NATURE.  I SHIP TO THE UNITED STATES ONLY...SORRY! I accept bank and USPS money orders.  Money will have to clear my bank prior to shipment of coin.  Money orders tend to clear quickly (I bank with Compass). My feedback is low, but I'm 100% and plan to stay that way.  I've sold thousands of high dollar coins on Ebay (double eagles, wreath cents, and bust dollars, etc..) with no glitches in payment/shipment.  I purposefully don't overstate my coin, guarantee when your check will clear, or how fast the post office will deliver.  I state this on all my auctions so please take that into consideration when leaving feedback for fast shipment or item as described.   CHECK OUT MY 1795 FLOWING HAIR DOLLAR & 1798 Bust Dollar AUCTION ON EBAY!
