The cut cancels have been reinforced on the back. The value of Confederate notes is constantly rising and auction results for obsolete notes are reflecting record high prices almost daily. Three years ago the leading authority on Confederate currency valued this note in this condition at $505.. More recently an equivalent note sold at a Heritage Auction for well over $650.
