Item Description $20 Small SizeRushford, MNCharter # 6436This auction is for a rare and hard to find $20, 1929 National Bank Note. It is from the First National Bank Of Rushford, MN. There WERE only 5 notes known according to the Kelly census, Last year, Rushford, MN experienced a catastrophic flood and during that flood, the local bank was completely underwater above the roof and we are told by some locals that 3 of the notes were destroyed as safety deposit boxes took on water.  Whether or not this is true, this is still an exceptional note.  3 have been lost! Serial Number is: A000119A and charter number is 6436. It is in VF+ condition.  I am not an expert on paper money so please take a look at the pictures as they are accurate. This comes from a large estate, just received, of over a thousand pieces of older paper money. They will all be sold on ebay. Please watch for our future auctions.
