On the other side of Mercury ( also known as Hermes ) is a rural Chinese scene with 3 river boats, structures & people in the foreground. On either side of this large ( approximately 12.85 x 17.55" or 33 x 44.5 cms ) orange-sienna colored bond are 2 more China vignettes. Denominated in English Pounds, German Marks, French Francs, Russian Rubles and Japanese Yen, these were convertible in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Berlin, Paris, Moscow, Brussels, and Yokohama. The reverse features multi language 'Conditions of the Bond'. The seal of the Chinese Government is prominent at the center bottom. In overall high grade condition without coupons, with a center bend ( not a fold ), corner folds, counting and/or handling marks,  some dirt and/or minor margin tears. There are no holes or cancellation marks in these bonds. ......................................................................
