Description
This listing is for an extremely rare WTC 1998 4 coin GOLD Eagle set labeled set recovered from the WTC Ground Zero after the 9-11 attack.  This set is a 1 of ONLY 7 possible sets in existance.    This 4 coin PCGS  set is comprised of (1 of each): 1 -1998 WTC PCGS MS69 $50 American Gold Eagle (150 pop) 1- 1998  WTC PCGS Gem Uncirculated $25 American Gold Eagle (pop 10, 1 in MS67) 1 - 1998 WTC PCGS MS68 $10 American Gold Eagle.  There were no MS69's.  This is a 1 of 7 pop coin.  This is the key coin to this set.  When is the last time you have seen one of these?  When do you think will be the next time you see this one again?   1 - 1998 WTC PCGS MS69 $5 American Gold Eagle  If there are any questions on this, please "Ask seller a question.' Expensive?  Well yes and no.  If you don't want to buy mine, you can pay the guy with the ID that no one can pronounce 55K.  See auction # 230054955602.  Rare?  Oh yeah, but thats just my 2 cents.     Most of these sets have been split up and sold off individually. You now have a chance to get it all in 1 auction. While there are others in these years, these coins have been exclusively selected and designated specifically for this rare set. If you are newer to the WTC Recovery coins or have been around for a while, I'm sure you have seen some sellers state over and over on many of their auctions "Folks, they aren't making anymore of these coins," "most of the WTC gold is gone and the silver is going fast." Well folks, like it or not, they are 100% right! Most of these WTC coins are gone at the wholesale level and many that you see listed on auction are completely sold out. I would estimate that 98% or more of ALL the WTC Recovery coins have been sold and are sitting in collectors never to be seen again (or seen at much higher prices). This specific coin and year is another that is completely SOLD OUT at the wholesale level. Another obversation, if you watch or track auctions relating to these precious WTC coins, the available supply on auction seem to have reduced almost in half in the last 12+ months as the supply at wholesale is basically gone, but even more importantly the individual collector is locking these coins up and thus out of circulation for anyone to acquire. What does this mean to you? If you haven't already secured this set, your chances are dwindling fast as these coins getting locked away in individual collectors hands never to be seen again. "I'll get it next time" might not happen for some of the coins, and if it does, I assure you your chances will be fewer and far in between. The coins pictured are the actual coins you will receive. Registered, insured shipping and handling will be $49.95 in the good ole USA. Money order, and personal checks (with a 10 day hold) are the acceptable forms of payment.   Sorry, but I will NOT be accepting Paypal on this one.  Residents add 7% sales tax.                     RETURN POLICY    98% of the coins I sell are certified and graded by a 3rd party grading company (TPG) - PCGS, NGC, ICG, ANACS, etc.  (the major and most credible ones).  Each grading company ultimately has a guarantee on the coins they grade and slab, which may be different from each other.  Please be aware of the grading company's coins policies are that you are buying.   Before any returns are accepted, you must contact me via e-mail or phone to discuss the specific issues with the item being returned within three days of recepit of the coin(s). Please take into consideration that "I am not a professional coin grader."  If you disagree with the grade on the holder, you can take that up with the grading service and not me!  Buyers remorse and third party grading issues are not valid reasons for a return and therefore will incur some special return fees.  A broken slab or gross misrepresentation of the item are valid reasons for a return and a full refund will be issued.  However, the original shipping package and USPS proof of damage if applicable must be returned inside another package in order to process your return for a full refund.  No package or no USPS verification of damaged shipping slip, no refund, no exceptions! The buyer will then have the option for an exchange or a full refund.  You have 7 days to return the item, the USPS delivery confirmation date will be used as reference.  Customer satisfaction is my number one goal!  Window shoppers have been costing me a bit of money and time, therefore the changes in my new return policy are for my protection as well as that of the serious buyer.  For those items that do not meet the new return policy criteria, you will receive a refund minus all shipping fees, Ebay fees and a 20% restocking fee.   SOME VERY IMPORTANT FACTORS THAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED BEFORE INVESTING IN THE RARE COIN MARKET    RISK: The purchase of coins is highly speculative and involves substantial risk. As in other markets, coin prices can be extremely volatile and will rise and fall depending upon market conditions. Therefore, before purchasing coins, you should first have adequate cash reserves and other assets to absorb a potentially significant loss. HOLDING PERIOD: Historically, few coins have appreciated dramatically in the short term. Therefore, purchasers should recognize that it may well be necessary for them to hold coins for a 3 - 5 year period, or even a 5 - 10 year period, to have any chance of realizing a significant gain.
